Katarn begins the game as a mercenary working for the New Republic, and over the course of the campaign, he’s joined by familiar characters from the Star Wars universe, including Lando Calrissian and Luke Skywalker. Jedi Outcast is set eight years after the events of Return of the Jedi, and sees players take control of Kyle Katarn, a former Jedi who has cut his links with the Force after almost succumbing to the Dark Side.
The games combine first-person shooting with third-person action, allowing players to wield classic weapons from Star Wars.
